Raiin Ali is a Pan-Afrikan community organizer, holistic wellness practitioner and guide, and multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges survival programming (mutual aid), Pan-Afrikan politic, Afro-Futurist expression, wellness, and cultural preservation. Based in Sacramento, she serves as the Minister of Holistic Wellness for Community Movement Builders (CMB) Neighbor Program, co-leading 14 survival programs, including Malcolm X Academy for Afrikan Education, a full-time K–8 liberation school in Oak Park. She is also the Operations Director for Community Movement Builders Nationally.
She is the lead vocalist for Nyeusi Kuku – The Pan Funk, a Pan-Afrikan liberation funk band that blends music and movement building, and she is both a student and teacher of Lohan Qi Gong and Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu, grounding her practice in ancestral discipline and embodied wellness.
Raiin’s work, spanning visual art, song, and education, seeks to create spaces of collective healing, resistance, and self-determination. Her creative philosophy centers storytelling, intergenerational dialogue, and radical imagination as essential tools in the fight for sovereignty and liberation.
